Our Foster Dogs are always in need of supplies.
12/10/2022 – Benjamin is just about the sweetest guy you could ever meet. Sadly, his family left him at the shelter because they were moving and couldn’t take him with them. He seemed so lost and confused when he hopped in the car to leave the shelter. He comes across as a little shy, but he is adjusting well in his new foster home. Benjamin gives nub wags and sniffs to the resident dog and is happy to see the cat in the house. He seems to have zero prey drive.
Foster Mom said he loves butt scratches and sleeping on the couch. He would do best in a home where he isn’t left alone for long periods. He doesn’t do well in a crate, but he is potty trained and does fine being left out. He could easily fit in with other laid-back animals or do just fine as the only one.
The shelter said that Benjamin has stage 4 periodontal disease, so he will need to be evaluated and treated before he is available to be adopted.
