Our Foster Dogs are always in need of supplies.
01/09/2022 – I’m having fun here at my foster home running in the large fenced back yard and playing with the two female Labradoodles one at a time. My foster parents took me to the beach and I walked in the water up to my knees! It was cold though so I didn’t want to go any further. I then did some people watching while lying on a blanket. My foster parents were impressed that I just hung out and watched everyone!
I had a little cyst on my eyelid which the vet had to remove, so now I have to wear a plastic cone around my neck so I won’t scratch my eye. Only about 5 more days of torture! The vet said that I’m somewhere between 5 and 6 years. I appear to have the beginning of arthritis in my left hind knee though it really only bothers me sometimes after we have been playing too hard!
I am now ready for a forever home with a fenced yard and another dog to play with! Will it be you?
Boxer Kisses from Flex
12/26/2021 – Hi, Flex here! My Mom had to work long hours at the hospital and felt that I was not getting the attention I needed as she had to leave me alone for 12 -14 hours a day. I was very lonely when she was at work and as you can imagine I got very excited when she came home. My Mom really had a hard time releasing me to BRAF because she loved me so much, but knew it was better for me.
I am now at an awesome foster home where I have a big yard to run zoomies. There are two big fuzzy female dogs here and I am working on making friends with them. They are Labradoodles, Thelma & Louise. One is getting friendly and the other one is shy so I will be patient. I have loads of energy but the running and playing is calming me down.
I’m a very good boy and don’t get on the furniture or bark much. I don’t get in the trash or destroy things when left alone. Well, I have been known to pull dryer sheets out of the trash to lay on because they are comforting and smell good. I also know basic commands!
Life is looking great for me! Check back soon to see how I’m doing!
