09/15/2020 – Marshall is your typical happy 11-month old Boxer except he has pulmonic stenosis, a congenital heart defect. According to his veterinarians Marshall can live a pretty normal life. He also has pancreatitis which is managed by a prescription diet dog food.
Marshall is looking for a home that will give him lots of love and can financially afford to provide the care he needs. He will require yearly echocardiograms with a veterinary cardiologist. If his prognosis changes Marshall will need to have heart surgery in which they would open the pulmonary valve with a balloon.
Marshall loves everyone he meets. He likes all dogs, large and small, and even cats. He came from a home with a 5-year old child, so older children would be great. A fenced yard would be ideal and someone that is home more often than not. Those who are gone 40 hrs or more a week will not be suitable for him. Marshall loves to be around his humans and if he was the only dog in the home we think that would be ok. He could be spoiled rotten as he should be.
If you are able to commit to giving Marshall a loving home and provide for his ongoing medical care, please consider this sweet Boxer pup.
