but loves life! Check out his video catching the ball!
08/25/2021 – Maximus aka Max here! My Foster Mom is having to travel for work now so I’m looking for a new foster home or even better a forever home!
I’m currently living with other dogs and I also like cats. I’m housebroken and the Dr. says I’m in good health for a 10 year old. I’m very sweet and affectionate and would love to be in a home where my people are home more than not cuz I love my people!!!!
If you’re interested in fostering me or better yet adopting me to be a part of your family, please contact the BRAF Angels. I would so love to meet you!08/22/2021 – Well, I had my surgery today so in about two weeks I will be ready for my forever family! Life is good here in my Foster Home but I can’t wait to have my own family!
I enjoy the company of other dogs though will need slow intros as I get overwhelmed. I’m also good with cats.
My days are spent hanging out by the pool and sunning myself. Walking through the cool grass is another thing I like to do. So, I’ve told you about myself. How about my forever family tell me a little bit about themselves! I can’t wait to meet you!
05/24/2021 – Hey Maximus here!
I got some great news! My blood work came back 100% perfect and I am heartworm negative. I just need to have a surgery and dental and I’ll be available for adoption.
My fur brothers and I are doing great together and Foster Mom says I am a lover and a leaner 🙂
05/19/2021 – Hi, my name is Max and though I’m an American Bully Mix and not a Boxer, the Boxer Rescue Angels came to my rescue when my owner passed away and I was taken to the shelter. Let me tell you I was very scared in the shelter and didn’t know what was happening to me, but I’m now in a wonderful Foster Home and already feeling the love! Everything here is new to me and Foster Mom and her two furkids are helping me decompress and I’m beginning to feel more comfortable. I surprised Foster Mom by showing her I knew sit, down, stay, and walk nicely on leash. She says I’m a very sweet boy who loves people and shows it by wagging my tail.
Did I mention a few hours after being pulled from the shelter my Foster Mom had to run me to the Emergency Vet? I had a bad upper respiratory infection that was affecting my breathing. The Vet took good care of me and was impressed by how super friendly and nice I was even though I was feeling bad. I saw one of BRAF’s Partner Vets yesterday to update my vaccines and take care of a few things and it turns out I also had a bad ear infection and the hair loss on my back was from fleas. I’m so glad the Angels came to my rescue as I was a hot mess but they are helping me get better. Once I complete my vetting I’ll be ready for my Forever Home so check back in a few weeks!
