06/10/2020 – Hi! Rhett here! I’m still looking for my forever home and hope I have one soon!

My dream family is a mom or retired couple who stay at home and will spoil me. I’ll be your sidekick for walks and riding in the car too! I love doggie ice cream and beach balls. Let’s go to the beach!!

The vet gave me some medicine to help me not be anxious when left alone and I am proud to say that I can now stay in a crate up to six hours without trying to get out.

Will you be my forever home? Love and Kisses, Rhett

04/21/2020 – Rhett found himself in rescue through no fault of his own as the HOA where he lived did not allow dogs over 20 lbs.  When he arrived in BRAF’s care he had several lumps on his back and had surgery to remove them.  Rhett has recovered from his surgery and the best news of all -none of the tumors were cancerous!  Woof!!

Rhett will soon be showing off his new thunder jacket, which along with some medication helps him not be anxious when his humans leave.  He would enjoy a home that’s on the quiet side with someone who spends more time at home, maybe a retired couple who like to go for walks and dog parks.  Rhett loves car rides, especially if he’s going to the dog park where he would run forever if given the chance.

He always tries to be a good boy and knows sit, stay, wait and paw.  Rhett got a bath the other day and he thought it was the greatest thing. He looked even more handsome than he did before!

Rhett is now ready for his forever home.  Please consider opening your heart and home to this deserving Boxer.
