09/07/27 – Gidget is the sweetest gal who’s owner turned her into Animal Control as a last resort. She is in our forever care program and not available for adoption due to a large lump on her leg. She will remain in the program unless our BRAF vet determines it is possible and safe to remove the lump. Gidget is also heartworm positive. Gidget got along well with other dogs at the shelter and her foster family will introduce her to her foster family soon. Gidget will have a soft spot to rest her head after her recent stay at the shelter. We will update as we learn more about this very sweet girl and get an evaluation from our BRAF vet.
DUKE RANGER A25-078
01/22/26 – Duke Ranger is 11 years old and has a mass in his neck. The mass is growing and due to his age and where the mass is located surgery is not an option. He will stay with his foster family until he crosses over the rainbow bridge.
PETRA PIPER A25-015
05/02/25 – Miss Piper has been diagnosed with Cushings disease and has bell palsy with muscle atrophy to the side of her face. At 9 years of age, this sweet girl is going to live with her foster family until the end and enjoy the rest of her days being loved and cared for.
Boxers in our Forever Care program are those who are not available for adoption primarily due to medical conditions, emotional or behavioral needs.
Forever Care Boxers have permanent homes with our special Foster Angels who ensure their lives are filled with love and companionship, and provide the care needed to maintain comfort and quality of life in the time they have with us.
