Our Foster Dogs are always in need of supplies.
10/29/24 – Tyson’s skin has finally healed from his severe neglect and his mahogany coat shines! He continues to enjoy his morning car rides and dances with joy when Foster Dad jangles the keys. The great news is he will always have his car rides as Foster Mom and Dad will be adopting him.
04/09/2024 – Tyson is busy with walks, car rides (he literally dances when the keys come out), welcoming friends, and keeping an eye on the neighborhood from his spot on the couch. He continues to slowly recover from the significant skin infections due to his long-term neglect, though the spring pollen set him back as his skin issues are allergy-related. Meanwhile, Tyson continues to rotate his favorite toys, plays ball, and hangs out with his Foster Mom and Dad. He continues to get medicated baths 2-3x a week, and once the weather is warmer, he’ll enjoy them outside where he can play with the hose.
As you can imagine, Tyson’s vet bills continue to grow as he progresses toward better health. Every donation is helpful and appreciated, and Tyson thanks you for your kindness and generosity with Boxer kisses!! https://flboxerangels.org/donate/
12/04/2023 – Hi Everyone! Ty here with a short update and to post my Christmas photo. I do believe in Santa and was patient for the photo shoot… but antlers….Really?
The baths and Rx treatment are helping my skin heal from the overgrown fungus and yeast caused by the long term neglect I suffered. Healing can take some time and I’ll keep you updated on my progress.
Meanwhile, BRAF has been getting some inquiries about me so I wanted to share that once I’m cleared for adoption I’ll be looking for a laid back home with a fenced yard to run, play and chase tennis balls. A friendly female to join in the fun would be nice too. And car rides…I LOVE car rides! Woof!!
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
11/03/2023 – Ty has recovered from his surgery and the incision to remove the benign mass on his back is healing nicely. Now that he can have baths again his skin and gorgeous mahogany coat will begin to heal and shine.
Ty loves playing with his tennis balls and soft squeaky toys…which he never destroys. He lives for car rides and bounces with happiness every morning when he goes to the post office with Foster Dad.
Despite his past neglect Ty is very loving and a joy to foster. Check back soon to see how Ty continues to recover!
10/05/2023 – Thanks to everyone who has donated money to help this wonderful boy. We appreciate you and Tyson is sending you some butt wiggles of appreciation ❤️

09/18/2023 – Tyson checking in with an update! I am feeling so much better now that I have plenty to eat. I’ve gained almost 20 lbs since I was dropped off at the shelter! Foster Mom says I still need another 7-10 lbs to fill out my big frame. That will be easy since I love to eat!
The great news is that I am heartworm negative! I’m getting medicated baths every other day to help my skin heal and my beautiful mahogany coat is beginning to shine. Since it’s warm out I get to have my baths outside and play squirt with the hose. Bath time is Fun Time for me! I’ll have a recheck at the Vet next week and paws crossed my progress will allow them to assess and treat my other medical needs.
I love hanging out and giving and getting love from Foster Mom and Dad. They say I’m an easy keep and a smart boy. I sit and wait politely for my food to be put down and go to the door when I need to go out. I enjoy my toys and walks and I’m friendly when meeting new people. FM&D say I’m going to be a great catch for one lucky family once I’m ready to be adopted!
Thank you for your love and pawsitive thoughts while I continue to feel better!
09/04/2023 – Tyson is very polite, sweet, and interacts well with people. He does not seem to have issues with other dogs. He is easy to leash and walks well on leash. He has several medical issues that need to be looked at and needs a treatment plan established.
