03/30/24 – Maximus and Miss Roxie got into a scuffle and while they probably would have been okay to stay together, it was decided that they were definitely not bonded. Max is doing extremely well on his own now that Roxie was adopted. He loves kids and people and enjoys being glued to his people. Max’s foster mom and dad have enlisted the help of a trainer to work with him on basic manners and his reaction to other dogs when he is on leash. He is making great progress but will need to be the only dog in the house.

02/18/2024 – Mr. Maximus has been neutered and he and his sister Miss Roxie A24-010 are ready to find their forever home. Foster Mom said that these two are very laid back for their age and they are awesome dogs. Max is a giant love bug and is like a bull in a China shop. They both love kids and people and have been great with everyone they have met.

01/29/2024 – Maximus is bonded with Miss Roxie A24-010, and they must be kept together.  He is submissive to her and can be anxious if she isn’t around.  He is a big boy who loves to run and play with Roxie, but we’re told he is not particularly fond of other animals.  He likes to give kisses and steal snuggles but can also entertain himself.  Whenever you look at Maximus, he either has his tongue poking out or he is showing off his snaggletooth.  He still needs to see the vet and take care of some business… so check back in a few weeks when we know more about him.
